I just recently stopped at US customs on my way back in from vacation, basically no fresh fruit or vegetables, raw meat, or dairy products like runny cheese. Chocolate chip cookies are totally okay lol.

Yeah, I saw something that I thought was a customs page that linked from O'Hare & there was all this stuff on the list that you could carry and I was like "What?? That can't be right...." I know about fruit from the creepy guy who confiscated my ONE APPLE last time I flew to the states.
I'm getting in on Thursday night (because I live in Youcantgettherefromhere and it takes forever to get anywhere) so I need some snacks after a really long haul. I'm not going 7 miles or whatever to the mall then.
Thanks guys. Maybe they won't confiscate my granola bars then
