Werepuppy's (Attempt At) Doll-A-Day 2019!
More of the fun blue-haired girls! She's indeed colourful. Nice superhero trio too.

Licca believes in embracing all the colours available to you. There are so many wonderful colours out there, why not use them all?

She really is! I'd quite like to get another Licca with unusually coloured hair...

Blue-haired girls have all the fun. And The Big Three needed a photo, clearly.

I need to find a way to actually show of the hood well because it is a dinosaur, it's so cool.

The world's greatest detective - move over Batman, L is here. (Though again, the world's greatest detective is actually Basil of Baker Street.)

I thought the world's greatest detective was Nate the Great? Or was it Encyclopedia Brown? Nancy Drew? Oh, wait... the Hardy Boys! Err... does anyone remember Sexton Blake?

Anyway, cute pose in the chair in the library nook! Makes me want to settle in with a good book on this rainy, soon-to-be-snowy afternoon.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Haha, the number of world's greatest detectives is reassuring, isn't it? Do you have Light, too?

(Boooooo u heretics, Holmes is the best!)  ;)

L is a great char. Great photo!  It's been a long time since I've seen any Death Note...  I don't do horror much, but that was a great series! I miss it.
Reply
My favourite detective was Claudia Seferius from Marilyn Todd’s Claudia series, but L looks very determined to solve the mystery there.

I've heard of Sexton Blake, but only from repeats of the TV series. I haven't read any of the books, I really should do that. Also ALWAYS READ. Reading is the best option, always.

I do! My Mum got me the pair as a gift years ago. L just seems to photograph a lot better than Light does, which is odd really when you think on it.

(Basil is basically Holmes! ... Okay, Holmes is probably the best but most people jump to the newest BBC iteration now and not like Basil Rathbone or even the Elementary one. Also? Where's my modern day Arsene Lupin. That isn't anime?)

I really do need to get the anime on dvd or blu-ray. I have the manga and did have the Japanese live action movies. But since I hadn't watched them in years, they went on the clear on pile. Shame, I did think they were fun. The fandom could be a bit much, though.

L is always determined. I ... don't think I've heard of that series, actually?

So Edith's day dress? Thomas bought it for her. She was very pleased and touched on that day.

All Thomas needs is a deerstalker cap to top off that outfit and then he could join the ranks as one of the World's Greatest Detectives! LOL

But he seems to have his mind on other matters.

(I have read that there are over four-thousand Sexton Blake stories. Yet, I have not read any of them, either.)

It's nice that these two could have a happy ending somewhere. For some reason, I'm craving vanilla pudding now?

How romantic. The Claudia series was great fun, set in Rome at the time of Augustus. I read the first 5 or 6 books in it, but it reportedly had over 10. I was just never able to track them down.

Great photos! I love the one of your L Nendoroid. He was the first Nendoroid I bought back in 2009, and I ended up selling him a few years ago and missed him so much I bought another one. XD

I don't know if Thomas would make a good detective, LOL. Let's have him concentrate on trying to be a good husband

(...Oh wow, that's a lot. Where would you even start with trying to read them all?)

Now I kinda want vanilla pudding...

Oh, I may go on the look for this series...

It's weird sitting L near one of the newer ones (not that I really have any new ones) because of just how big his head is in comparison to them.
