Congrats on finishing your first faceup. Do you have to seal the watercolour pencil?

Thanks all! And yes you do Allie, I've been using testors dullcote. Just because it's available near me.
I don't know anime, but I do love white hair & brows & lashes. I can't wait to see her smile
No real guesses on the character but she looks awesome so far! (And I recognize that head!$
No idea but looking forward to seeing her finished. Have fun!
No guesses, but she looks interesting so far.
I'm terrible at anime, but it's going to be interesting to watch her evolve smile

Yaaas David! My first doll was Dal ciel Robin , and it inspired me to do shiro smile.

(I'm a week behind so here's last week's photo!)
My first j-doll from the lovely fishy! Esplandi Katu.
So. Heh. She's in princess pinky stock. And previously I had tried getting Pinky's stock on a pullip body and it didn't fit well so I thought it wouldn't on this girl. So I attempted re bodying her. But once I got her on a byul body....the neck was to short. By that point, I had peeled that tiny jdoll wig off and popped her head open, resulting in two chips. By the time I got her back on her original body I thought meh... Might as well try and fit the clothes on. And they fit. *screaming* so I should have done that first xD. All in all though, she didn't take too much damage, and now I can make new wigs for her smile. I'm really enjoying the j doll so far ~~

Yikes, it sounds like she had some major surgery. Is it hard to pry their heads open?
Ooo, she's pretty. And she looks great in that outfit. J-Dolls are so pretty and elegant. Welcome to the club wink

Kind of yeah, requires an exacto blade & flathead screwdriver. And patience!! You also have to use some glue to get her head to stay back together. So I don't recommend it.
She looks wonderful in the outfit!

I'd say yes, it's hard to remove a J-Doll head. There are pegs around the faceplate that fit into holes on the other half and the ones I've opened have been glued really securely. You pretty much have to cut through them with the exacto and pry the two halves apart and hope you don't do too much damage.
I'm happy she survived the unnecessary surgery. She looks incredibly lovely in the pink outfit!
very pretty smile I do love J-Dolls.
