Aw! Poor pumpkin. It did end up kind of appropriately Dal-sized, though...
Pumpkin came inside and is getting a bit more orange. We will see if it ripens on a windowsill like the little squashes did a couple of years ago.

There were no pumpkins at the store.
Well, actually, there were two left in the big box, both damaged. Not that I need to buy more; I do ex-pect some guts and purée from this little one.
So without a pumpkin we improvised  smile

You improvised very nicely!
The girls are ready for warm weather and that illustrious crown on the pumpkin-o-lantern simply must be a harbinger of wonderful things to come in the post-Samhain season!
Happy Mahalo'ween!
Aw! The annual pumkin-o-lantern is always so joyful, and Glorianna and Lea look so proud of themselves.
I love the glow through all the seams of the pineapple.  I feel like I kinda wasted him since I only got one photo, but, I remind myself that few other pineapples are ever likely to get that much used.
I didn't even try rooting the top.  I've tried multiple times and it never succeeds.  Maybe it's cooked by having a candle in it.  Even though I trim up into the stem.

The only time in her life that Sunsette has ever had sixth-scale-body-envy.
Whose cool outfit could this be....???
Nice jacket! That's a good look!

I wonder what it would look like to transfer a mini head on to a 1/6 scale body? Sooo... Sunsette... are you up for an eksperiment?
Will the mystery be solved in next week's picture?

Yes...  Yes it will.

Dolly people are nothing if not enablers.
I'm looking at you, davidd.

INSERT ALL THE EXCITED EMOJIIIIIISSSSS!!!!!!

OMG! You got a "Cap'n Alliecat" action figure!

I was thinking about this figure just a few days ago, and wondering if it was still available for pre-order and wondering if I could scrape up some funds... and now HERE IT IS!

I gotta say, this figure looks even BETTER in an "in-hand" real owner photo than it does in the promo pics! The promo pics are so highly edited and processed that it can be difficult to tell what the figure will actually look like. This pic suggests the figure looks as good or better than the pre-release images suggested it would!

Oh, I'm SO EXCITED for you!

I hope you are happy with your new pirate! And that you find a way to integrate her in to your PTFCo adventures!
Pirates of the frappin' Caribbean!
Sofia is indeed pretty darn cool. And pretty much what the promo photo showed. Everything is really nice quality (except her hat). I've had the worst time getting through her photoshoot though. It's too cold to take her to the beach. The backdrop has been set up in the middle of the steps to the living room since she arrived, and I just can't seem to get time to finish with the pictures and then sort the millions I've taken because light painting requires quite a few takes to get the right effect. An intro for her is coming soon, I hope.

Twofer this week. I was determined to shoot something new for the Dal House "tea" thing. So here are Sidika and Cygnie.

cute!
Nice tea set!
The first pic, swimming in the teacup, is cute!
The fairy lights lend a magical holiday feel to the scenes.
I wasn't thinking of them as Christmassy when I shot them, more of a fantasy sort of atmosphere, but they certainly ended up looking that way! smile

"It's spelled wrong, Mum."
She took the tea bag tag quote as a personal invitation.
And it's not capitalized, either! Those poets and their "artistic license," huh?

Clever of you to pick up on the possibility here.
