Pullip Fraulein's Hair

Hi everyone, I just purchased a Fraulein used off of ebay in pretty great condition. She came with everything. Seller stated they took the doll out briefly and put her back in the box. She is in great working order but I must say her hair doesn't look too bad but it is very very dry, crunchy and was quite frizzy toward the ends of the curls. Took me forever to comb out the curls with a toothbrush but got it done.

Was wondering for those collectors out there with Fraulein, is her hair like this new? Or is she just one of those dolls that her wig is a hot mess?
