Has anyone heard about the Atlanta BJD Convention, Oct. 18-20, 2013?
- Facebook event page
- ATL BJD Con website
Apparently it's a Halloween-themed con, and they will have all kinds of vendors and contests. The part that interests me most is the selection of panels and workshops:
- Sculpting
- Mold-making
- Pastel faceups
- "Dos and don'ts" with dolly doctor (hands-on help with doll issues such as stringing, fixing breaks, mod mishaps, etc.)
- Simple digital photography
- How to sew for various sizes
- Pattern-making for your doll
- Jewelry-making
- How to make a video of your dolls dancing
- Make a flapper-style dress for your MH doll
Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. There are also individual day passes for less.
Atlanta is not too far from me, so I will probably end up going. Is anyone else planning on attending?
