Yay... or meh. Pulling her out for this photo reminded me of how much I am not bonding with the Smart Dolls. Some intensive Smart Doll therapy time may be in order soon, to see if I can finally connect with them, or if they would be better off in another home.

She looks like she's making some silent yet very pointed remark, like "ahem... remember us?" with just a LOOK.
I'm not sure how many Pinkys I have. Not nearly as many as many collectors had during the Pinky Street popularity peak, but quite a few. I sometimes think I should make a list, but that would require, like, effort and stuff.
Yeah, the Smart Dolls have not made many photo appearances or had much play time. In dollars-per-photo terms, they remain my most staggeringly overpriced doll or toy eggspenditures ever.

When a photo has flaws, layer on the Instagram filters!
Most of the Smart Doll hand options are very nice... as long as the hideous wrist joints can be covered up or cropped out.

Yes, Smart Dolls are aptly named. Or so they like to believe, at any rate.
20 March – Standing Broom Only
During the vernal equinox today, Monster High Elissabat bewitches a common household broom into standing on its own.
Now if she could convince it to do the sweeping.

Ooh.
... Yeah, actually, that would be very useful.
(Also great use of perspective)

I have to ask my Elissabat if she can do this, too! Is that the 17" version?

We need a witchy doll if they can the brooms do the sweeping.

That’s a very cool effect with Elissabat and the broom - I wonder if any of our dolls could bewitch ours to do the sweeping?

I was at a bit of a loss as to how to get the doll in the photo with the entire broom... without showing too much of the disorderly room in the background,
so this is what I came up with.

Yes, this is the 17" version.

You need a witchy doll... or multiple witchy dolls... whether they will do the sweeping or not. I recommend Bratzillaz!

I wonder if, seeing as how you are antipodean and all, the broom would stand on its handle where you live?
21 March – Jade's Nightmare
Bratz Jade awakens from her nightmare to discover that the nightmare is real: three additional inches of beautiful, wonderful snow that fell overnight!
"I am so done with this. Now where did I put those cyanide capsules?"

Okay, not going to lie here, my first thought was that you had a custom doll version of the Ring Girl.
... But I think Jade might kill you harder for the snow.

Augh. Some in our forecast too for early next week. Hoping it will be rain instead. Great shot -- love the perspective; it looks like a huge mountain.
Fun perspective with the broom too! I'd like my crew to help out with some tidying and chores too, put they pretty much just hang out an occasionally help shop for more clothes or photo props

Your dolls need some skis, so they can enjoy the snow.

Who knew that a Smart Doll size shirt would work so well on a Bratz doll!

Ooh. You're right! She does look like the girl, or ghoul, from The Ring!
Acts like it, too, sometimes.

It seems like a huge mountain. A huge, vast mountain of ice rising up from an endless snow field. They say the glaciers in Greenland and the Antarctic are melting, but I'm getting the sense that there's an impending New Ice Age unfolding here in the middle of North America.

Skis or snowshoes would be fun, but the girls are requesting a Sno-Cat.
22 March – Another Unfinished Project
Triv (Smart Doll Symphony) is resuming work on the fireplace project she started this past December.
The overall height has been lowered by 1-1/2 inches (4 cm) to bring the mantle down to shoulder height.
The fireplace is one of several not-quite-finished (as in, not even close to finished) craft projects in a variety of scales that were started, but never completed, during the winter months.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!
