Another kitty! LOL
I like her tiger-stripe outfit (I mean, what else might a kitty wear but kitty stripes??) and how it colour-coordinates with her, but yes, she does look rather bold in her new outfit.

Congratulations on Kitty Number Two!

Heh, honestly I just wanted to find her something that looked comfortable. I can see what you mean though, she does have a bit more attitude in the pose in the picture. That seems to happen with dolls who come to the Room... And thank you!

And here I thought it was only rabbits that did that.

Thank you!

I'm becoming way too fond of the Hujoo anthropormorphic dolls. I'd really like to get hold of a Phoebe at some point... I've got some sales posts to make, lol.

I think I will keep the tiger-stripes as pyjamas for her, or at least an alternative outfit.

119. Sewing: Long Sleeved Dress
[Image: 49030982_20bd05412a0963ecfb18acc8a47bbb3c_standard.jpg]
This was honestly just done as an attempt to see if I could sew properly for the MH size. I found turning the sleeves to be a bit annoying, but do-able. I adapted the pattern myself, using a raglan top as a basis and worked to the measurements of the doll. It's shut with a belt here because this was before I put any type of closure in - I wanted to see how it looked.

Overall? ... I prefer sewing for dolls that aren't so thin, LOL. Okay, no, to be fair, sewing for MH sizes is fine if it's block colours but finding in-scale patterns is a bit of a hard thing. I can seem to do it though, so at least it's there as an option if I need it.

Nice job on the dress! It looks properly witchy!

Agree, good job! Finding tiny patterns does present a challenge, especially ones that suit the personality of the doll.

I tend to prefer sewing for my dolls than buying clothes. Though I have bought quite a few things because my sewing skills are not advanced enough for some of the stuff I would like to make for them. Thank you! I like how the sleeves sit.

Which is honestly a hard thing to achieve, so I'm glad to hear it!

Oh, that is really true. It's a bit easier for the 1:3 scale dolls, but the smaller you go the harder it is. I need to try to sew for the Hujoo nano size, and I'm thinking I might just stick to block colours for the sake of not giving myself a headache over trying to find a pattern in the right scale.

120. Malice
[Image: 49055018_b8ca2f3c2150bd451dbbf8131f56f90c_standard.jpg]
Malice was my very first BeGoth doll, found at a comic convention in Glasgow at a toy trader stand. Initally I had thought she would make a good base for a Wednesday Addams custom - this was prior to me receiving my awesome custom from my friend - but her own look grew on me while I was trying to work out what to use to wipe her face. According to research, she's from the very first series of 12" dolls released by Varner Concepts.
In my doll-canon, Malice is the youngest of the BeGoth crew and often a very unsure sort of girl. A lot of her uncertainty comes from the fact her elder sister is very much in control of her life and knows what she is doing, while Malice still feels lost when she thinks to the future. Her sister is also very glamorous which can make Malice feel a little uncomfortable, but when it comes down to it, the girls have each others backs.

Another appearance of the Striped Socks theme!

I love seeing your BeGoths! And it's very cool that you have a figure from the very first series of releases! I'm glad she didn't get "wiped."

Im with Davidd that it's great that you didn't end up wiping the BeGoth from the original line.

She looks like she fits right in with the rest of your crew.

The striped socks will always reappear! And you'll be pleased to hear that the BeGoths will be making quite a few appearances over the next week...

There's a 7" plastic figure version that's a lot more detailed. The doll of Malice is certainly one of the more unique Goth Alice takes I've seen.

The Goth aesthetic is big over here, lol. (Here being with me.)

121. Rabbie
[Image: 54339180_9533b072bff28c978bf79d3c707941d2_standard.jpg]
Arrival date: 30th April 2019
My Hujoo Nano Rabi arrived! He's an adorable little thing, I'm glad I saved and managed to grab him in the sale. I called him Rabbie because being Scottish it's a more common version of Robbie. Plus I kept calling him it while waiting on him to come soo... yeah.
Will need to see about making him a top and shorts that are properly sized for him. That's a MH top I got from etsy years ago he's wearing currently.

Well, it did do well for those Skele-animal plushies...

122. Gloria Phobia
[Image: 49055026_d12bfece072d2a6acb639123d925a857_standard.jpg]
Gloria was the second BeGoth I ever got and ironically is from the last line of dolls produced for Bleeding Edge Goths. Gloria is stunning, and she is one of those dolls that I can't look at without smiling. Everything about her is just beautiful to me, from her really simple design, the clever tattoo, even the very subtle piercings. Gloria embodies the type of sophisticated lady I think there's a part of me that thinks would be cool to be.
In doll canon? Gloria is Malice's big sister - a side effect of them being my only BeGoths for a while - and she adores her little sister. The quickest way to make an enemy of Gloria is basically to say anything against her little sister. She runs a high class nightclub - members only type thing - that caters to all types of people, including the supernatural set. They have frequent entertainment in the form of singers and other musicians and Gloria is often looked on with longing eyes, being the glamorous owner who seems to glide through it all with this air of ease. She also dabbles a little in magic, enough to consider herself part of one of the little covens of the Room.
