Generic she may be, but there is something very cute about her face, and it looks like her outfit might actually be made of fabric and not paper. Definitely a lot nicer looking than some of the generic dolls for sale around here.

She almost came home! If she's still there the next time I visit that particular market, that may happen!

I love it too —You get some fantastic perspective in your shots. Are they delivering a package? Is that a customs label? What’s in it?? Dolly stuff?
Agree that if you get “Mary Ann” you will have to get a Ginger.

Like the others have said this shot is fantastic. The forced perspective helps to give off the feeling of... I'm going with annoyance, seeing as how they're stuck (it seems)

What the parcel contained: 7 March – GI Joe Adventure Team Talking Commander - circa 1970s One of the chaps (most of them live in England, so I have to refer to them as 'chaps' or 'lads' or ' 'oy, you lot!') on the Action Man Mobile Ops forum sent me this vintage (circa mid- to late-1970s) GI Joe Adventure Team Talking Commander figure more or less out of the blue, totally unex˙pected. Swell group of (mostly) guys on that forum. The forum is primarily dedicated to 12-inch / 1:6 scale GI Joe and Action Man (as he was called in the UK) figures from Hasbro and Palitoy, with other 12-inch action figures also present to a lesser degree.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Oh, wow, vintage Action Man. I haven't seen any of them in ages. I don't even think they make them anymore! I do have to agree with the Bin Rose comparison, but yeah, that is a really cool gift to be given. Sounds like a cool forum to hang out in.

Cool. What a great and thoughtful gift. Your friend must have known that this guy would fit right in with your crew. I thought of you today while visiting a little toy museum… They had a couple of Action Man figures. Does this vintage guy still talk? What does he say?
