What a marvelous pirate boy in a marvelous pirate costume.

And what a marvelous opportunity to remind everyone that 19 SEPTEMBER (this upcoming Saturday) is International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

He should create all sorts of mayhem in the room. I can see him teaming up with the Dodger.

Ahoyyy back to Rick!

I'm hoping to start working out some of his hijinks soon!

Seriously, Azone knocked it out of the park for the outfitting here.

Oh, I'll need to brush up on pirate speak.

I can't seem to work out if they're going to team up or be at odds with each other...

257. Disney Ladies!

[Image: 74668000_03847bfa49135ba2360c76502d79243b_standard.jpg]

This year for the first time in a long time, Disney decided to make dolls of some of their female characters that rarely get dolls. Alice, Esmeralda, Megara and Wendy. They're fantastic looking, seriously. I think Esmeralda is my personal favourite, followed quickly by Megara. My only niggle for these dolls is those glitter filled dresses but I've heard soaking them in acetone will get rid of it so I will try that. Oh, and Alice needs stockings.

They're cute! But I feel you on glitter dresses, I never liked them myself. It can look pretty, but omigosh, all the shedding!

My faves are Megara and Alice. I prefer Esmeralda in her Barbie iteration.

Aw! Wendy's a cutie.

I abhor glitter...

It probably took them a while to get to these ladies, because they're not part of the Princess line.

It's not glitter, it's fairy dust!

Seriously, I wouldn't mind them if they were the type that didn't shed but they are not.

I like both Esmeraldas, though I think I would like to try Disney version in the Mattel outfit.

She really is a cuti. Now, if they would just release a Peter in their classic line that would be great.

I'm okay with glitter in clothing if they can make sure it doesn't shed. This sheds.

True, true. That and Disney are coming around to the fact that a lot of the movies they made during the 90s are surprisingly marketable.

Ha! I like this thought.

258. Height Comparison: Helter and Olivia

[Image: 74703454_6742f29604cb738504b3d446b984d0de_standard.jpg]

I did mention showing the height of the bear I got on my birthday next to Olivia, so here we go! To make Helter be able to stand, you've got to angle him back a little, so it's not as direct a comparison as I would like, but it does show he's just a smidge taller than her.

I love how they sorta match, in their own, slightly chaotic way. They look like two individuals who purely accidentally make a great duo.

Olivia is so rad! We haven't seen her in a while; I'm happy to see her.

And yes, as neon notes, there's a colorful compatibility happening here in this pic.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Oh boy, Helter is huge!

Love the Disney ladies - I would love a Meg. She’s one of my favourites. Her & Mulan - Elfy was boggled when we watched all the Disney cartoons a couple of year back, and I could sing all the songs in Hercules & Mulan. I’ve watched those films a lot.

Oh wow, Helter is a big bear! And great colours too.
