It's actually been 70 degrees for the past several days, but Roxy's pretending it's sweater weather anyway...

New Jersey... early last week it was in the 30s/40s, and I'm sure it will be again, soon, so I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

Envious of your weather; we got one lovely 18C day this week and it's still not too cold (aside from one freak day of snow) but you have way more flowers & greenery.

Yup, that's me, living in the land of a thousand stereotypes. For the record, I've never heard it pronounced as anything besides "Jer-zee" other than in movies/ on TV.

We are the Garden State, however, so maybe that's why my yard is looking so verdant. But now it's back to real November (i.e. 40s-50s and rain/ gloom).

She is one of those underappreciated dolls like Date Masamune. I hope she pops up for cheap some day for you... mine was a semi-bargain.

The Union Jack top is fun. I don't know why, but this past week I've been thinking about how "cool" the concept of "England" used to be when I was a kid, Swinging London and Rolls-Royce and Jaguar and Land Rover and Benny Hill and Monty Python and Rex Harrison and The DC5 and Fireball XL5 and such; and how pathetic the UK has since become with mandatory lockdowns and a passive populace prepared to give up their kitchen knives for "safety." And these were the people who once shrugged off flying bombs and beat back Schickelgruber and his fascist cronies while rarely missing tea time.

Anyway, Beautiful Bangs here reminds me of a time when the UK was fab.

Is that a stock wig? Or a spectacularly excellent aftermarket find?

Yep, that is Alura's stock wig, aka the only Groove wig I truly adore. In fact, I have it on two dolls... I didn't think I'd ever splurge for Alura, so I bought the wig on here for $10 and put it on my Cinciallegra. And then a few years later I got Alura after all. My Cinciallegra still wears the other wig, but the bangs sit slightly higher on hers. I should get a picture of them together.
