13 Years!

Hi guys! I haven't been around for a while because I just suck at existing generally, but today is a very special day and I thought I'd share it with you all. <3

Today it has been exactly thirteen years since I got my very first Pullip!

I got Neekitaka on February 28th, 2008, when I was 13 years old. Today is February 28th, 2021, and I am 26 years old. Which means I have had her EXACTLY half of my life! Which is absolutely insane!! 

Happy Birthday Neeki. I can't imagine my life without you coming into it. <3

I went and found a photo of her from shortly after I got her to post here, although she only kept her stock wig for about three weeks if that, so she barely ever looked like this, haha.

I also think she looked cute with her original wig, but the pink one really suits her much, much better - she seems like a vibrant, cheerful personality. I also love her wardrobe choices, that pastel jacket with the sheer sleeves is especially amazing!

The fact that you have a hobby that's been going on for half your life, and a doll who's been with you all along, for half your life, just warms my heart! It truly is a thing to celebrate - congratulations on such an awesome anniversary - to both of you! It's also very nice to see you back I'm sad to hear existing is hard nowadays (and that's something I can relate to), here's hoping things will get better for you soon - and that Neeki and the crew will be there to cheer you up until that day comes.

thank you guys so much for your comments!! I hope no one thinks it was my birthday, as it definitely wasn't, haha, it was Neeki's! My birthday is in August. I only clarify because some people on facebook when I posted these seemed to think it was my birthday. ^^

I agree that the pink wig suits her much more. <3

I am so happy that I've spent so much of my life in this hobby. I have times where I don't touch my dolls for a little bit, but I always come right back to them later on and they're there when I need them. <3

People on Facebook don’t pay attention; they’re too busy scrolling. I got it that it was Neeki’s birthday. It’s nice that dolls are always there when you want a little bit of happy distraction.
