Glori got a new body! Now she can have adventures.
"This one bends!"
The bikini bottom was too small -- Pullip size -- but she grabbed the top right away. She's feelin pretty hot now
"Bye!"
Packed away either in case someone wants it someday, or to get the hex colour for a little better replacement match.
Stopping to smell the flowers on her first outing with the new bod. She can look a tiny bit bowlegged; the lower legs rotate easily.
"Look! I can SIT!!"
...it's Dolls With Flowers again!!
"Yippee!"
Many of the crew get an introductory shoot on the beach.
Checking out some photogenic algae in the marsh outlet.
She found some beach glass.
And she met someone on the beach.
"Wow, being a dog chew toy doesn't sound like much fun at all..."
"Thanks for looking!"

Sunny beach days and photogenic algae! What a wonderful time Glori is having now that she has re-invented herself!
I wonder if I would feel that energetic if I could go from Body A to Body B like that? Sadly, the process is a bit more time-consuming for those of us who are non-doll. But Glorianna makes the effort look worthwhile! She seems so happy now!
It's probably the photogenic algae more than anything else. That's enough to make almost anyone happy, I would think.

Yay for a body that can move!
I really notice the difference between the Pullips & the way they can move, and the bigger dolls I have (Elinor, George & Roman) who only have hip & shoulder joints.
Gloriana looks like she’s thoroughly enjoying her outing with flowers & the beach trip.

What a big change that body makes! While not a M2M, it still offers a nice range of natural poses - good job with the posing!
That bikini top is awesome! I really like the careful construction with the wheels right in front - and it's a great outfit for the beach! That beach glass is a nice find - while not really a happy thing (since it once was trash), I too like beach glass and pick it up when I find some. I'm especially fond of the blue ones (but you can buy me with blue glass, or blue transparent anything, anytime. I've literally picked up empty booze glasses on the street because I liked their blue bottles )
Your flowers are amazing! And Glori's hair colour is also amazing - it's the colour I wanted my hair to be about 13-14 years ago when I had the bottom of my hair dyed "purple". Quotation marks, because it seldom turned out purple - aubergine at best, but mostly some ugly version of deep red (and then faded to pink), and while it was more vibrant it stained everything (and everyone!) my hair touched, so after about 1.5 years and 10+ types of hair dyes tried, I gave up. Interestingly, now I know the trick and *could* dye my hair a pale faded purple (not as vibrant as Glori's though, the warm pigments in my hair would never allow for this colour sadly) - but I no longer want to be a purplehead. I did switch from blonde to rose gold (sometimes pink - depends on how effective I am at portioning the colorant components) a few months ago, though.

Now that's a feature I'd love to have! If I could switch to a body that doesn't come with an ever-hurting shoulder, that would be awesome - I swear I wouldn't be too greedy and I wouldn't complain about certain bodily proportions that I'm otherwise not happy with. I wish it worked like that. Our dolls certainly have it easier than we do.

I didn't realize I hadn't answered here! Thanks, all. I don't really notice that the new body isn't a perfect colour match; I think it mostly doesn't show.

I like blue beach glass too. Some around here; mostly green or white though.
Oh no, the staining hair would have been frustrating! "Rose gold" sounds very nice though.
And I'd settle for a new FOOT right now, that doesn't have a toenail that wants to come off
I had 2 butterflies left; there was a jar of 4, the last hatched today, and now I just have one very late straggler who took forever to grow because it had grown cool on the porch in the shade. He/she should be hatching in a couple of days, and hopefully will bring the season total to 100 successful hatchings. (There were about 10 casualties; I should've counted them. They made me sad, so I didn't )
I thought Glori would make a very nice fairy. Her posing was a bit limited because on this body her head doesn't tilt. So if she's going to look at something she has to really hold it up.
So here's a photo dump of Dolls With Butterflies! Because we need happy pretty things to think about right now.
Of course the best pose of the lot came out blurry; obviously I moved, and I only got one shot at it because of how fast the sun patches were moving. Oh well. I think the last one is my favourite in spite of the fact it's crooked, which I normally object greatly to!
Thanks for looking!

Those “magic hour” pics are lovely. Or “magic moments,” it sounds like from a practical perspective. Is this when you were sprawled out on the ground causing concern for your well-being among passers by?
Happy to see this topic brought to the fore, because “photogenic algae” struck me funny the first time, and I suspect it will be my laugh o’ the day yet again!

And definitely moments -- several times I didn't get Glori & the butterfly set up before the light patch had moved. I have learned the trick is to set up "before" it gets to the spot you want -- if you can guess where it will be.
