Had to wait till I wasn't using a teeny phone screen to read the Star Patrol. Yay! I love the minimal lighting in the background creating the spaceshippy setting. And of course the posing is so natural as always.
That was cool. Please post the continuing story!
(I want to find out if the "fastest ship in the service" can do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs )
Is this scary dude part of the story...?

One of the Pinkys looks distinctly unimpressed by the "Elvis Wuz Ere" sign
Love the behind the scenes look, and am always impressed by the props you make out of recycled junk & a bit of spray paint. I'd guessed that one of of the bits was an egg-carton, I wasn't far off.
The Graphic Novel is very cool, you have a fun imagination to add in the speech bubbles for a (semi)-coherent plot

Can the pincer-y hands actually grip anything? That could make for some interesting pictures... (If I'm envisioning the scale correctly, Carly and the Pinkies better watch out!)

20 February - A Doll A Day 2022:
Work in Progress – soda bottle rocketship:
Not exactly a "doll" I suppose, but this rocket ship is a doll house of sorts; or at least, it is a prop for doll photo-stories. It is still a work in progress.
The ex-perimental "composite" image was created using Plasq Comic Life. The space background is an image found online and borrowed without permission. The color was enhanced using an iPad app called Mextures. The vintage linen postcard style texture and the frame effect were created using an iPad app called PhotoToaster.
I hope to eventually create my own outer space background images using "found items" and cheesy special effects, in keeping with the "found items" origination of the rocketship components, and to better match the low-budget "retro" style of the project.
Anyway, I'm counting this as a "doll photo," but you don't have to accept it and are free to deduct penalty points. I'll still win because, without Neon-Jellyfish and Werepuppy, I'm the only one playing the Daily Game anymore. Not sure what happened to DeadlyNova. I'm hoping she'll catch up with another mass photo dump again soon.

That looks amazing. You can’t even tell what it was, and it definitely counts as a doll.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t count - I’m sure we’ve had a wide variety of toys over the last few years.
It’s very clever, and fits great with the rest of the retro feel of Star Patrol.

I shall accept the ruling of the judges!

21 February - Quick Snapshot of the Kitchen Table at the Moment
I keep intending to clear it off, but then I start another project!
(I shall be Away From Keyboard for the next couple or three days, but I should have opportunities to snap some fun pics during that time!)

Still more interesting than my kitchen table with its piles of paper, blaaah. I did clear it off and it took forEVER. Just a month later, the piles have accumulated again.

Ooo, travel adventures! >sigh<
The little ferry looks like BC's Gulf Islands ones. A much bigger version of our neighbouring-island ferry. I love it that you got out in front of all the cars to take a dolly pic!
Can you go up the lighthouse? What's the story with the elephants?
Looks like your spacefarers are about to break into a captured ship or something... just the first thing that crossed my mind.

And of course the obligatory lighthouse shot.
