Ha, OK, now I get the caption. With the dishwasher put back together I took time to look.
Any good books? Wow, are there really over 68,000 of those things? It's a cool idea. (04-03-2022, 11:51 AM)Alliecat Wrote: Wow, are there really over 68,000 of those things? It's a cool idea. Congratulations on a successful reassembly of your dishwasher! According to the website ( https://littlefreelibrary.org/ourmap/ ), the closest Little Free Library to you is on Wood Island. 3 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 3 April - Bratz Yasmin visits the Barberville Yard Art Emporium in Barberville, Florida

Oh boy. I might be in trouble there. I like yard art; I just don't have the sort of yard that it looks good in.
That looks like a fun place to visit. HA! I didn't know there was a LFL registered there! It's a summer-cottage place so it makes sense that someone set up a book exchange. People whose ancestors lived full-time over there go over to get away from the hustle and bustle here

Yasmin looks like she's having a good time!
We have a couple of those little book huts in my town, but apparently they're not official Little Free Libraries, because they're not on the website. I think they were someone's Eagle Scout project... they've been up for a few years now, and seem to be kept well-supplied.

It's time to hit the road, Jack! Not sure about online access while traveling. Ex'pected online return: April 10 or 11-ish. Y'all be good while I'm away!

I am wondering what Yasmin likes to read. We saw a really cool Bratz car just the other day. Does Yasmin need wheels?

Aw, poor girl. She looks so tired. This sequence did make me laugh though. Kind of how I feel after long travel days. I’m glad to see her looking happier for some ex-ploration of the ghost town. And, nice to see you back!
Wow, that was a long drive. How many hours’ driving a day?
PLAYING CATCH-UP... CONTINUED! BACK AT HOME AND BACK TO WORK!
10 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 10 April - "Let's Get This Party Started!"
Janie's enthusiasm for projects is almost enough to make up for my lack of such. Let's tackle the leaking (as in, gushing) water inside the bathroom wall, shall we, and proceed from there. 11 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 11 April - "Let's Find Out What's Going On Here!"
"Hmmm... it looks like the manifold has cracked!"
"It's not actually supposed to come apart like this!"
"We'll use a PEX cutter to remove the damaged components from the system! Cake!"
12 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 12 April - "Old Parts Successfully Removed!"
"Using a crimping tool to install new components!"
"Now to check the integrity of the crimp ring connections!"
13 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 13 - Plenty of Headroom... for Janie!
"Ehhh... not as bad as it looks! Hand me a wrench, will ya? And a towel!"
14 April - A Doll A Day 2022: 14 April - "Okay, that takes care of the leaking water lines! What's next on the list?"
The list keeps getting longer!

Whoa. That doesn't look good.
I am always amazed at your patience in taking time to do these photos in the midst of big repair jobs. I suppose it makes them a little less tedious though. All the photos look like the girls are really doing the work -- great job! (It kind of looks like they didn't get much of a holiday, based on what they were doing in Florida.) That is way too much list I hope you can knock it down some. Lists like that make me walk away, which is sadly why no progress is being made around here. |
