Two out of three: the girls are redecorating and moving to a larger space.

Janie knows!

Great to see Lala again, and so dramatic!

Dramatic and atmospheric! The skeleton in the background is a nice touch.

Looks like someone is anticipating Halloween.

27 April - We Have Ways of Making You Talk

The diabolical Professor Gangrene gets what's coming to him!

Altho'... he'll probably manage to escape before the authorities get him to talk. Supervillains, they have a pretty good track record for getting away.

That's okay, gang. That Action Man Professor Gangrene figure is one of my least favorite, too.

It certainly is a lot of stuff.  Good thing they're small; they'll probably still fit.
Good use of mysterious "parts" again to create the dungeon setting.

Many of them go into politics.  Where they also get away with things.

"Okay, what are we doing?"
"We're setting up this tipi tent to serve as a vacation rental."

"What do we do first?"
"How 'bout you clean the porta-potty while I sand and varnish the picnic table?"
"I see: a lose-lose situation."
"Yeah, pretty much."

I thought the tipi was their house.

The picnic table definitely sounds like the better job.

NOTE: Effective immediately, I shall begin to transition my A Doll A Day Project and other new content to The Dal House Forum.

It saddens me to transition away from The Dolly Market Forum, which has been my "online home" for a number of years, ever since the Pinky-Street forum faded and disappeared. However, the spam posts have become too much of a nuisance to want to deal with. Even as a moderator, I am no longer able to address the spam issue. The moderation buttons to remove the spam are "backfiring," banning me instead of the spammers. I suspect the same might happen to anyone who clicks on the "report spam" links. The forum software appears to have been compromised on a level beyond my ability to circumvent.

The Dal House uses a different forum software system which, thus far at least, has remained stable and relatively spam-free.

I am not giving up entirely on Dolly Market. I will still check back here regularly, and will continue to cross-post A Doll A Day for the present time, while hoping the spam situation gets cleared up, or until the spam level becomes unbearable.

I'm not yet abandoning this ship, but I'm taking it in tow from a more stable platform while we man the pumps and hope for the best.

I know most of you are also members at The Dal House, so I hope to see you around over there. Dal House Admin (TrueFan) is looking for ways to boost activity -- both Dal and non-Dal -- at the forum, and she is fine with any doll or doll-related content.

UPDATE: I think I figured out a cumbersome but effective workaround for banning some spammers and deleting some spam posts. The method doesn't work for all spam posts. It seems to depend on which category the spam appears in. Most of the recent spam has now been removed. So I'll still be here -- somebody's gotta sweep the dust out of the corners that these spammers track in -- but I'm going to be increasing my activity level at The Dal House as well. It is very kind of TrueFan to welcome us in over there.

I was going to say something witty about the photos, but now all I have is

NOOOOO, DON’T GO!!!

I hate it that everything has gone to Facebook with its shallow “likes” and less discussion and that we can’t get more members here. I so appreciate the little group that keeps the lights on here.
I saw the spam, wondered if click = ban, and just ignored it. I hope perhaps you and/or Christopher can figure out a way to fix it.

The lack of a comma is confusing. It reminds me of the "Devil in the Dark" episode of Star Trek, where the Horta creature burns "NO KILL I" in to the stone.

"Is it promising not to kill anymore? Or is it begging us not to kill it?"

Are you asking me to not leave, and to come back? Or are you saying don't come back?   Oh My

Probably for the better if you leave it open to interpretation.
