More fantastic fleeting sun in the snow pics... with tigers! The fig with the tiger in that setting that matches their colors - it all looks so dramatic and magical!
Hibiscus flowers grow in Canada? I'm impressed! Do the plants survive over winter, or do you bring them indoors?

Love all the recent pics.
Always love butterfly & doll photos, and tge fairy is particular nice.
Robyn looks marvellous with her tiger. I would have thought she was a winter girl not a summer one from these shots.

And is way too big for the space so every now & then I try to cut it down. It doesn't even take well to being moved outside so I didn't even try last summer, which meant it didn't flower. But when I do, even trying to shade it a bit, it sunburns and loses leaves.

Here's another photodump from previous shoots!
The flowers on this one are starting to fall; I wondered if something was the matter and then realized I shot these at Christmas. There are a few more to sort yet.
Then there are some more from Rachel's pic-a-week.
And a few more of Catherine with Gram's tiger.
Fuzzy tiger tummy!
Lookit these perfect little ears. How did she DO that.
I really need to redo this shoot with better light.
I did an article on a little gift shop and when I mentioned doing doll photography and showed her a few on the camera the owner gave me this little bench, which you can barely see here!

The floating effect with the orchid is fantastic.

The storytelling in the forest pic is magical! Cute real life story to go along with it!
Interesting that you can grow hibiscus indoors. I’ve never seen that.
I am amused picturing you dashing about loaded down with cameras, dolls, and plush tigers chasing little shifting patches of sunlight.

I love the little tiger shots, so cute! And, I agree with davidd--that storytelling picture is just amazing and so whimsical!

Thanks, everyone
We welcomed 2 new arrivals today, as Celsiy and Mini Cheshire arrived to join us from Fishy's crew. Several other Fishycrew gals are here, so they were happy to meet the newcomers. And of course the official welcome from our President and CCO*, Sunsette

Celeste came bald. I thought about making her my first blue-haired big Pullip, and planned to look for blue wigs. But I also saw one that looks much like her stock wig, and thought I might get that. Then because she needs something in the meantime, I tried Daesani's terrible stock same-length-all-the-way-round wig, and thought she needed a fluffy bob and she looked good with black hair, so maybe I could finally figure out how to cut & style that thing... and then I tried this strawberry blonde one that hasn't matched anyone quite right yet, and it's rather growing on me. So... not sure what her final look will be!
I'd been stalking Mini Cheshires on eBay & Aliex.press for a while, so was happy to buy Fishy's. She was going to be "Chessie", but I distinctly heard her say she'd like to be "Jessie", which is close. I had a great-aunt called that, so, OK -- meet Jessie!
She is rather melancholy-looking, which is odd for her character. She is less smiley than many minis. Add her eyebrows, which I'm kind of glad are hidden, and she looks downright sad! She looks like she wants hugs. Photoshop helped here a tiny bit, but only in closeup. I think she will be happy when she sees how many mini sisters she'll have

It's kind of a fun thought to know that Fishy's crew is being reunited in a different venue!
Celsiy is cute as can be in that blonde-ish hairstyle. Did she arrive wearing that adorable summer nautical outfit? I think you should get her a sailboat. One of those little ones, like a Hobie Cat or something.

Welcome to the new arrivals! I like that wig on Celsiy, and Jessie's pigtails are adorable.
I also adopted a couple of Fishy refugees awhile back, but they have yet to appear in pictures (and in fact one has been in multiple pieces for several weeks as I can't quite commit to a pair of eye chips...).

I like Jessie’s pigtails, they suit her, even though she looks less sure about them.

They are both so cute, I hope that it won’t take too long for them to settle in & start going on adventures.

The Nautilus II crew keeps jumping ship supposedly because Allie "actually pays them" and "doesn't make them commit war crimes against fish."
It's so hard to get good help.

We had best make sure that rumor doesn't spread too fast, or everybody will be heading north!

Haha, you guys
Yes, being supermodels, the girls are all millionaires....
No, Celeste didn't arrive with belongings, (even hair, haha) so she made an immediate visit to the wardrobe department.
If I ever had a chance to snap up a little dory at a yard sale around here, I would. The minis do have a boat, and there is a vintage sailboat model, but it's a bit too small for everyone.
Dargos, looking forward to seeing your new arrivals too! I haven't wanted to take a chance at rechipping anyone yet. I've taken a sewing machine and a dishwasher apart, but I've drawn the line at doll heads. If I couldn't get the eyemech back together, I'd end up having to send it to someone to do it for me I do think Celeste might be interesting with blue eyes...

It has rained for days, so no outdoor shoots with the new girls. The rain is OK with me these days, as it dampens the disruptive activity in the neighbourhood. Well, a wee bit
Still, it kinda sucked that the high the other day was 6C and it even snowed a few flakes last week. Feh.
Anyway, I'm far far behind with sorting photos, still, and maybe eventually will get them done & posted, but for now here is my entry for the PUDDLE contest, "Magical Candy Thunderstorm". It was certainly a challenging theme.
