I think this is the Hasbro "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" CW10 Galactic Battle Game version of the General Grievous 3.75-inch action figure. I dunno... I picked it up years ago because I thought it looked kinda cool.

"Vintage" as in a dozen or so years old. More a retro-inspired quasi-replica of an older style tin toy robot.
I tried to look up the Schylling company online. They used to produce quite a number of "retro revival" wind-up toys. It appears that they may have been taken over by a group called St. John Toys, who make some pretty nifty stuff:

Cleo has unique hair. The background looks great.
The toys are cute. With all the digital and electronic junk that's peddled to kids nowadays, I wonder if these would appeal more to adult collectors.

Yes, AstraNova from the "Boo York, Boo York" series of figures, was a visitor from outer space who had a faceted crystal-like appearance. The character was said to have come from an icy comet, hence the "dirty snowball" design motif.

Yes, the original Monster High even managed to integrate actual science in to the character designs.
