I'm not familiar with the series, either, but it was a cute Holmesian-style figure, and it was inekspensive, and Hina Ichigo's photo on Flickr presented the figure well.
The anime series is aimed at younger children, but several fans have recommended it highly, saying it is funny and sweet and interesting for adults as well as to children.

I have a friend who says Spy x Family is good. I've read parts of it, but I'm too much into history to enjoy the subtext that some characters are basically Cheka.

Man, my brain is just too messed up these days to come up with any clever alliteration or... anything. Your dark settings always look interesting.

I found the little character figures back in 2006, so they've been around for a while!

 Villainous Vixen Evaluates Escape Alternatives

('Kay, I'll admit to being pretty pleased with this elegant example of alliteration; notice how the "v" sound from "villainous vixen" transitions in to the second position in "evaluates," with "evaluates" then serving as a bridge to initial vowel sounds for the final words! I impressed myself with this one!)
