You still have the energy and interest to do these elaborate photo stories… They always look like they take so much time. I know, I already said that. But really.
Wow, if it were possible to make something ex*plosive by simply painting it green… Well, that would be just too big a temptation ![]()

I'm getting the technique down for the photostories, and I have a template for this particular series, so if I keep the panel count reasonable I can churn 'em out pretty quickly. The one with the blocks took a while. I'm out of practice, I guess. The blocks kept falling over. 29 June - A Doll A Day 2025: . ![]() .

1 July - A Doll A Day 2025:
. Over at one of the action figure forums, one of the participants has introduced clones, figures and characters who closely resemble some of these figures and characters, who in turn somewhat resemble characters and figures from yet another member. Because pretty much all of these "seamless" action figures look alike. Humorous hijinks ensue... if you're a seamless action figure fan... I guess... maybe... although viewer response does not particularly support the humor supposition. There's a sub-plot about English accents. . ![]() .

So did one of the seamless action figures crumble? Can't have been easy to write that dialogue.

Some time last fall I had a compulsive feeling that I needed this Bratz doll. I "needed" it to such an extent that I purchased two of them. Turns out I didn't "need" it or even particularly "want" it. Maybe I'll donate 'em to a charity shop the next time I gather up a box of I-don't-need-it-but-it's-not-totally-junk stuff to donate. I suppose I should check to see if maybe some of the clothing items or accessories would be useful for my other projects. . 4 July - A Doll A Day 2025: . ![]() Interrupted Momentum
When the creative momentum is interrupted, projects often fall apart; in this case, literally. I can't even estimate how many hours I invested in this 1/6-scale "tiki bar" project. I felt it was really starting to take shape. Then, several months (or maybe more) ago, "real life" intervened, one thing led to another, and the project stalled. At this point I don't know if I want to bother trying to pick up where I left off. Indeed, I do not know if I could make anything out of the mess at this point. 5 July - A Doll A Day 2025: . ![]() Itching to Get Started
Triv and Janie have fallen behind on the projects they hoped to complete this summer. This upsets Janie. Triv figures the projects will still be there whenever.

Other people, whom I don't even know in real life, have a better idea of what I have than I have myself sometimes. 6 July - A Doll A Day 2025: . ![]() Sindy and Sindy debate: whose cooler? I've actually often thought I'd like some help with decluttering -- someone that could find a home for some of the things that aren't junk but aren't useful here. Someone to give a little nudge to get it done. And definitely need help packing up, but "when" the day comes, I won't have it
