@Lilcurly: I might not be the best to elain, but basically images are all made of dots, or pixels. And if you make it larger, it gets fuzzier/grainy because it has a set amount of pixels. A vector (like in math) figures out how many pixels should be in the image if you re-size it. That's why if you submit the logo as a vector as opposed to (jpeg,etc), it can be re-sized without losing any visual quality.
