I bought her second hand, and she is by far the most I ever spent on a doll. (All my previous dolls cost under $100, with most of them closer to $50.) I still feel a little guilty, even though I really like her. I'm trying to get over this feeling...She's very winsome. And I adore her hat.

Oh, if you want it, you need it... so don't feel guilty I think we've all had at least one "ISPENTHOWMUCH??" moment. It goes away....! If it's a doll you've wanted for a long time, then as long as you're not going short of food or rent then I think it's ok to splurge now & then! Have fun with her. Looking forward to seeing your steampunk family's adventures.
