Saturn was at that crazy price for years, even way before Crystal was even a thing. She may was a badly distributed end-of-the-line toy or something. Add high demand on top and you get a toy that have been promoted to grail status. There may be a loose Saturn buried in a flea market bin or a garage, waiting to be found...

I think Saturn was catalog only, so she was always rarer to begin with. Super Sailor Moon is in the same situation. Saturn dolls are eensive in general. She's the only main senshi I lack a doll of. I'd love to have one someday.
