I can if you're not a Pullip collector and there's these random large-headed weird dolls on an otherwise good book. .(04-14-2019, 11:58 PM)*NatTheCat* Wrote: Would it be cheating to use a book that already has Pullips on the cover? . Oh my goodness! That is too cool!
Even though one of the first reviews that pops up on the GoodReads site says:
"First of all: the cover of this book has got to be one of the ugliest covers I've ever seen. That has nothing to do with my feelings for the book itself, but good grief - if I hadn't read and enjoyed previous books by this author, there is no way I would have picked this up."
The book has a lot of reviews and rankings, mostly positive! Hmm... I wonder if Pullip doll covers is a way to boost eBook sales? Oh, but wait... this wasn't an indie ebook, this was a real hardcover book from a real publisher!
I may need to purchase a copy just to include in my Pullip collection!
I would TOTALLY recommend getting it. :3 I really enjoyed it. The characters and story are very well-written and believable.
(And no, I didn't use that cover as my entry. . I picked another awesome book by a different author.)
