Flowers and summery weather! Yay!

Yay!  It hit 30C in the sun a few days, FINALLLLY!  It was wonderful!!!  Now it's cooled off a bit again, but oh boy, I love that hot weather.  (The garden, not so much...)

The lighting in the second photo is genius.

Thanks  It was very pretty through the lens but is always hard to get the camera to capture that sort of light.  I did have to lighten the shadows a bit to make it more like what it actually looked like.

Ika got a couple of new little friends through the Dal House forum.  I'm not sure what I should call the octopus... I'm too tired to be creative at the moment.  Anyway, it was a very tiring week so it was nice to go to the beach for a couple hours, and remarkably, there were no bugs.  Guess it's been too dry.
