Looks like you and the girls are making the most of Canada”s heatwave.

The hot season is soooo short -- gotta make the most of it while we can!

...sometimes it's so hard for me, someone who wholeheartedly loathes hot, not to make any super awful comments at it.

Hehe, we are total opposites there.  On a winter day, if it's sunny and someone says something like "nice day", I'm hard pressed to not growl, "IT'S TOO COLD".  
...actually, that reaction starts around the end of September....

Thanks to Lejays for the inspiration for this week's pix.  I've been talking to them, but the little carrots have really struggled with the heat.  They are so tiny  I'm counting on the new garden boxes' location in the sun to give me another month on the end of the season to make up for it.  So we called in a professional.  This is, after all, Claudine's original vocation.





The beets & chard, however, haven't seemed to need any encouragement.  First round of thinning/freezing happened today.
