You must spend hours each day tending your flowers, plants, and vegetables.

It is quite a bit of work... more now that I'm freezing a lot of veggies for winter.  I am watering every other day because it's been hot for days.  Then there's deadheading, and weeding, and I made more work for myself this year by trying broccoli, and this brings hours of picking off caterpillars
If the mosquitoes don't make it impossible I hope to get some pix in the "old" veg garden, which has really got somewhat out of control.  It's a bit of a jungle at the moment.

Lea and the Beanstalk would be a fun story. She looks proud of herself for reaching the top, as well she should.

Well, there are beans too, so she could climb them   I think I've had her climbing the sunflowers in the past; they're bigger...

More dolls gardening.
Last year when Red was here there was a pumpkin big enough for her to sit on.  This year I'm still trying to get one of the flowers to "take"    0 for 3 so far.  Apparently I am not getting up early enough to pollinate them??
