Those little lights are perfect for your setting.  I hadn't seen any fairy lights like that, and I've looked at quite a few online.

She's dreaming of her Prince Charming sweeping her off her feet and taking her away to somewhere wonderful and care-free. I think I know somebody who dreams the same dream. Upon awakening, unfortunately, reality is much less fairytale-esque.

I found the lights online three or four years ago. I saw something similar in a diorama photo online and searched for them. They're not exactly like the ones I saw in the photo, but close. Unfortunately, I cannot find them anymore. I was looking for a set for somebody else who enquired recently. I used variations on search terms including words like: industrial, fairy light, party light, garden light, cage, metal, battery-operated, LED.
