And I did wonder at first glance if "Floydada" was a joke sign
Aside from that I'm sure I'd always be wanting some item and then realizing "oh bleep, it's at the other house."
The doll bed was marketed as a Sindy Day Dreaming Bed in the UK and Europe, and as a Maxie Day Dreaming Bed in the US. I don't know if Canada in the 1990s mostly carried UK items or US items.
The sign was a totally random find. I had no idea I would be passing through Floydada, Texas, or that such an absurd place name even existed.
Apparently prices range from cheap to reasonable were one to consider living there:

Reasonable (relatively... I guess): https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhom...7004-11638
Yes, the "I wonder if I left it at the other house" issue is occasionally an issue, although definitely a "First World Problem" type problem. The problem for me is that I'm attempting to live a First World Lifestyle on a Third World Budget.
