In this semi-autobiographical photo (I'm not a girl, nor do I have a cozy fireplace), Ari struggles with the same challenges I often deal with; namely, a lack of sufficient, or sufficiently versatile, lighting.
After two decades of toy photography during which I have been fussing around around with desk lamps and flashlights, I decided to pamper myself and splurge on the purchase of some "real photography lights." I have a few items on the way via mail order (or online order, whatever it's called now) from LumeCube, and a couple of small Joby Gorillapods to use as supports.
Merry Post-Christmas to me, I guess.
