Priced considerably below the tax assessment.

And although the property did not "show" well, chances are that thoroughly shampooing the carpet and painting the walls, not to mention clearing out all the random abandoned junk, would make it at least livable. In fact, those few steps might allow the buyer to "flip" the property quickly with an investment of only a few thousand dollars and a week of industrious work to boost the curb appeal.

That one was an "opportunity" for "the right buyer."
