Man, am I ever behind with photos all of a sudden.  Still haven't posted chapter 3 of the Texas trip; an NB housesit; the PEI Grand Tour; a hike; and a new arrival.  Well, here's one batch.

Daisy & Magenta hadn't had a photoshoot together yet.  So I took them on a little bonus hike after doing my big one the day before because I thought it was going to rain this day.


"We're going on a walk!  Want to come with us?"



"Oooh, look, we're going to a lighthouse!"






This cupola was airlifted here from a demolished one.  If I recall, I did an article about it.  I recall watching from the top of the lighthouse when the Coast Guard helicopter brought it in, and then helping shove it into place on the deck.  It now has some interpretive & memorial plaques around it.



Both girls found matching flowers.  Daisy found buttercups...






...and Magenta found roses...









...and beach peas.






They watched the ferry depart (momentarily in between its breakdowns).
