When I got them they were a whole big clump.  The first couple of years all the stems flowered.  Now half the stems didn't grow more than a few inches and there were only 2 flowers 

The fireweed, however, is doing really well.  I have a lot more since I've made the effort to collect the stems in the fall and spread the seeds after I burn in the spring.
I'll have to start a flower patch all over again somewhere else 


A quick few snapshots of Natalie this afternoon.  There were soooooo many bumblebees!


I've also discovered you can see my gaillardias from space.
