Did I ever tall ya about the time Danny Choo, the creator of Smart Doll, blocked me on his Instagram account? 

Hahaha, no, I don't think so!  What happened?

Back during The Dark Times, Danny Choo, the creator of Smart Dolls, got on a kick about how Smart Dolls were designed for children and made to be accessible to everybody and posted heavily on Instagram to that effect. Seeing as how these are $500 dolls, some Instagrammers dared... dared to push back against the claims, especially Mr. Choo's comments about Smart Dolls being anti-elitist.

I made the mistake of participating in one of those discussions, agreeing with a poster who had calmly pointed out that Smart Dolls were quite ex-pensive relative to most "toy" dolls designed for children. At the time, Mr. Choo was "going through a phase" where he blocked anybody whom he considered to be critical of Smart Dolls or his business practices. I was blocked along with many others who dared to comment on posts with which Mr. Choo agreed.

Eventually, he got so fed up with Instagram that he left for about a year. Gradually he started posting again, and lifted some of the blocks. I don't think I'm blocked any longer. I was able to "follow" the Smart Doll account and able to post a comment just now.
