Nope, no wire.  It's just cut/sewn to flare out like that.  The suede-y boots are the same make as many of the crew's shoes, most of which came from Mimiwoo.  They're so well made.  The girls have way more shoes than I do.

I shot a lot of pictures this week, mostly prompted by a bunch of Monarch hatchlings.  I only had 9 this year.  Should have been on the ball and got some more from the lady down the road earlier.... but I don't walk down there much anymore.    Anyway, I launched the last 2 butterflies yesterday.  One was ready to go right away, after spending the night in the flight box, but her brother was willing to hang around for a few photos.














I love this dress on her.









Probably can't see without a zoom-in on the original-size photo, but she has butterfly dust on her face!
