This is such a cute little character! Was this a stock Pullip release or is this all custom outfitting. Is that a stock wig? I love that hair -- perfectly casual!
As for living in dad's house, apparently he asked another relative if they wanted to live in it after he was gone. They pointed out that they couldn't afford the thousand bucks a month property taxes, let alone the eight-hundred bucks a month heating bill in the winter. My dad had a pretty hefty retirement pension (that kept growing -- some weird thing about how the state employee retirement system in Oregon works; he was making far more money retired than he ever did working), and as often happens with older people with lucrative pensions (or so I've observed), they become detached from the financial reality of the working class.
