I suppose it really means more work. A fashion doll can be an action figure or a fashion doll with equal aplomb, but action figures have a harder time transitioning in to the fashion doll realm.

Haha, isn't that the case with so many female "action" characters. And pirates. I look at some of them and think their outfits are just about the least practical ones imaginable.

Accurate observation. Even the sidearm is outrageously non-ergonomic.

Haha, isn't that the case with so many female "action" characters.  And pirates.  I look at some of them and think their outfits are just about the least practical ones imaginable.

Pirates of both genders have the best boots. Well, pirate captains, at least. Run of the mill pirates tend to lack shoes altogether.

Yeah, like Lara Croft would survive half an hour on a jungle quest in her shorts and tank top. The mosquitoes and biting flies would make short work of her.

Not that I’m acquainted with a huge number of female action characters, but my vote for best worst outfit was always Xena. Travelling in that??
