A dolly for your dolly! How fun!

The rainy day pix are sweet! That brolly might not help much in a rain shower, though.

I love the straw hat and summer style outfit!

Sad about the spring-loaded confetti cannon not working. It is a one-shot deal, or could you potentially reload and re-set it?

Thanks everyone!  I thought of her immediately when I opened it.  I got the hat at PUDDLE, as well as a small one for the J-Dolls (who really need more camera time!!).

"ONE TIME USE -- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RELOAD"
I guess you could if you wanted to mess with it, but the pop depends on the shape of the doll's base fitting into a bracket to hold it down, so you'd have to tinker somewhat.

Found a giant toadstool in the yard.  Not in a very photogenic spot but it does of course require a fairy to visit it!

Good gracious! That simply must be a magical toadstool, simply because of its size!

Colorful pix! So cute!

I think it must be the biggest toadstool I've ever found in my yard.

Please help us welcome Gina to the PTFCo crew!
Gina is the grand prize from the PUDDLE photo contest.  Catalina & Petra's "Ice Cave Ex-plorers" pic was the winner, yay!  yay
Gina has had a very weird trip from Illinois.  She went on a circular tour and ended up BACK in Illinois because postal bureaucracy.  Finally she arrived safely, and Sunsette welcomed her this afternoon.
I had NO idea what to call her.  Like, no clue at all for weeks ever since I learned she was coming.  If I'm not keeping the stock name, I like to choose names that start with the same letter, usually.  "Miss Green"? ... I was going to trawl through Google Translate hoping to find some word for green in another language that might sound like a name, or... something... but that would've been random.  Even minis take a while to get out of their boxes, and literally the moment she finally popped free, her name popped into my head.  Isn't it fun when it feels like they tell you their names??  smile

A welcome from Sunsette.  She brought a bunch of PUDDLE things with her too.

She's supposed to be a member of some sort of "Earth defense force" (?) ... OK... either environmental or sci-fi are appropriate for the gang here.

She has such a cute face, with very pale-purple eyes and kinda sassy eyebrows!  I'll have to try again to get a closeup though, cos the one I shot was blurry.

Then she visited the wardrobe department to try on a dress (actually she had to get it from Darla who was wearing it).

In a quick ex!ploration of the garden, she found a bee, but with a swarm of ravenous mosquitoes around us, all she got was a blurry snapshot.

She brought Sunsette a flower from the garden as thanks for the welcome.

Among the PUDDLE things Gina brought, was this adorable dress, necklace, and the hairpin that you can't quite see in the photos.  Here's Victoria!

Oh my goodness! Gina is adorable! I love her little red cap!

Congratulations on winning the PUDDLE photo contest! That's amazing!

I mean... not amazing, because your ice cave photo was super cool; but amazing that out of all the entries, you were able to win! The effort you put in to your images paid off! That's gotta feel pretty good!

Thank you both! yay

A few more pix of Penny, first on my Bird of Paradise, which is getting huge and has already outgrown one spot.  It wants "5 to 6 hours of sun per day"... with the lack of available windows in this place (already full of plants) I think we are in trouble  slash

And with one of the dipladenias which has become one of my favourite summer flowers because it blooms a lot and doesn't need deadheading.  Unfortunately they don't take well to being overwintered and end up a scraggy mess.

You're growing a Bird of Paradise plant indoors? You can do that? 'Kay, I'm impressed!

Do you have a conservatory or a sunroom or a hot house, or do you simply have exotic plants all through your home?

I love how Penny's skirt matches the flower petals!

They're just crammed on the windowsills and crowding the glass back doors so it's hard to get through them, and as close to other windows as possible, but the biggest windows are on the north side which isn't great for many of them.  I want a sunroom.  Maybe the "next house".... sigh  slash

It's a perfect match -- sometimes you get picked for a photoshoot just cos you're wearing the right colour  LOL

I think these came out pretty well considering I was in yet another swarm of mosquitoes.  Yep, they're still horrible and I have to put on layers just to go out & get a few leaves of chard or something from the garden.  Anything longer than about 30 seconds requires hazmat gear.  Stupid climate.

Here are Gina & Sidika.

Looks like both your wildflowers and your fairies are thriving! No sign of winter there yet!

Those wings are super spectacular! As is that enormous toadstool!

I don't like to post a ton of very similar photos, but *does it anyway* here are a few of Victoria with our little visitors yesterday.  4 or 5 of them were fighting over the 2 feeders.  Come on, ladies, don't fight... I guess with a hurricane coming everyone was on edge.  So while waiting for the world to end (or at least my garden and more trees) I had a little time just sitting and watching them all.  "The moments of magic are just too short...."
These aren't the magic-light closeups I envisioned, but, I was happy to get a chance to try it anyway.  Maybe next season there will be another chance.  These are migrants and I was surprised to see them, as the nesters had left.  I imagine these will be on their way as soon as they can after the storm.  At least one was still flying today, and sat on the feeder bracket for a while.

None of the pix with 2 birds was very good and the light was starting to go, so these are a bit more like outtakes.
