That’s such a cool set, I may have to see if it’s available here so I can use it for “parts”. Mostly I want the outfits

I found this set for $7.50 USD plus shipping. The least e ensive one I see on eBay at the moment is $9 USD plus $11 shipping, so $20 altogether. My online contacts in the UK tell me that the least e ensive Star Trek Barbie & Ken sets they can find cost 90 quid.
It's quite odd how toys were, and are, distributed. I remember paying a pretty penny to get Lanard Catwalk Kitties Petites, because the only place they seemed to be available was Australia.

A couple of brief episodes have already been filmed. Taped. Kinescoped! But they are responses to posts on other forums, so they kind of don't make a lot of sense as stand-alone posts. More episodes are in the works. The Star Patrol saga is evolving in to a joint project and becoming a galaxy-spanning epic. Well, country-spanning, as the co-creator lives in that repressive gulag formerly known as the Dominion of Canada. (Canada takes that dominion stuff pretty seriously, as in, total domination of its people, doesn't it?)

22 January - Star Trek Barbie Ex-plains Price Inflation from the Perspective of Yesterday's Tomorrow
Mattel Star Trek Barbie reminds us how much the Star Trek Barbie & Ken Collector Set originally cost... back in 1995!
Today, in 2022, these sets regularly sell on American eBay for ten dollars or less (plus ten to twenty dollars for shipping).
According to several online inflation adjustment websites, this set that cost $75 in 1995 would cost $138 USD today.
That would be $175 Canadian
Or $195 Australian
Or £ 102 in UK pound sterling
Space Barbie has cute earrings, huh?

The traveling exhibit about what the past thought the future would be like was forty years ago! What do we have to show for those forty years? Mobile phones, Facebook, and Tic-Toc.

The price in AUD for the equivalent new price is almost how much it would cost to get a set posted here, according to my quick eBay search the other day.
(It’s the postage here that is the killer).
So I’m disappointed I couldn’t get one for my crew.
Looking forward to seeing more adventures in Space!

They were... back in the 1950s.
The program was called "Space Patrol," but that is who "Star Patrol" is modeled after. The character names are borrowed from several 1950s television science fiction programs: Rochelle 'Rocky' Jones is from Rocky Jones, Space Ranger and Cadet Holly Corbett is from Tom Corbett: Space Cadet.
Here's some more Star Patrol fun:

I bet those shows would be funny to look at now.
You’ve done so much with the military figures; the space figures would be a whole new world! (No, spellcheck, I don’t need you to capitalize that.)

Here are the three Star Patrol episodes that have thus-far appeared on other forums, usually in response to posts by other members; hence, lacking context on Dolly Market:
In response to a hideous Star Wars character with a pointy snout and suction cup fingers named 'Gridney' asking who 'Dave' is:
