[Cornflower Blue]

This is my Taeyang MIO custom, Kyouya. I was attempting to create a guy that would fit into the Beary Fairy series. However I had trouble making pink work so he ended up with a different color scheme. Then after all that work, I never did take any proper photos of him last year even though I brought him to PUDDLE.


We started out with a photo bomb by Ember. Since he's posing on her cat tree, she usually has to come over to see what's going on. She found his furry hat particularly interesting.


After I found a toy to keep the kitty busy, Kyouya could get down to the business of posing.


It turns out his hat is soft enough to work as a furry cape.


I sponge painted his eyelids in several shades of blue green. Looks cool and it's very easy to do.


I made his outfit and his fur wig. A pair of Kira Kira eyechips I already had on hand and some brown eyelashes finished his look. With the exception of his eyebrows, I'm pretty satisfied with how he turned out.

It's not that difficult to make the faux fur wigs. Unfortunately, my favorite Etsy seller source for fur disappeared. They had a great selection of colors and I could get small pieces.
