30 January – Pinky Street "Moesephine"

Moesephine is an example of the mix-and-match feature of Pinky Street figures. The face is from PK004 "Moé," while the hair, jacket, skirt, legs, and goggles are from a number of other releases.
Moesephine is based on a character created by Pinky-Street forum member "Blur" for a long-running photo-story on that forum called The Ever-Evolving Photo Story Game. I remember purchasing a number of different Pinky figures that I did not yet have in order to replicate Blur's character to add a sense of continuity to the multi-author story.
Those were fun times at the height of Pinky Street popularity, from around 2005 until 2009 or so, after which activity on the forum began a fairly sudden decline. By 2012 there were fewer than half a dozen active members, down from sometimes hundreds of new posts and comments per day at the peak.

Oh, and... stripey socks! LOL

The multi-player story sounds fun. I wonder how hard it would be to do with Pullips...? Probably a lot more complicated.
Moesephine is cute.

As I was typing the caption, I began wondering if such a story-game would be popular on this forum. Probably not, as photo-stories in general seem to be much less common than in the past.

Continuity, as such, was not a requirement for the game. It started with one person posting a panel or a few panels with either word balloons or a caption that started the story. Then, on a first-come, first served basis, somebody else would post the next installment to the story, taking the storyline and plot wherever they wanted. It was much like the "Pullip Train" topic here on The Dolly Market Forum, only with brief story snippets that more or less followed one another instead of photos with one or more elements in common.

She looks so stylish as she's about to slaughter what I imagine is a gang of dishonorable rogues... I love the dramatic lighting!

She looks really cool, deadly and dangerous.

I've heard of Gunslinger Girl, not actually read it though.
