Stunning photo of a stunning and mysterious creature of the depths!
I seriously may need to add this figure to my MH collection... as a result of your photos.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Floating in the depths again.
How do you display a doll with no feet... I assume her stand holds her suspended...?

Raven looks amazing as per usual - can she take a bad photo?
The Origins 2-pack is a great shot with the filter overlay, it looks like the type of photo from the early 20th Century.
Sunny Pony! So cute!
The Ghost Mermaid (Sirena Van Boo?) looks like she's rising from the depths to play havoc with the sailors.

Thank you!!!
Alliecat, Sirena doesn't have a stand, her tail is designed so that she can stand on her own.
Day 174
Follow-up mermaid.
It's not like I dislike the idea of mermaids being kindhearted nature spirits (really, I like them!), but mermaids of the old stories, those alluring, always up to no good personifications of mayhem will always have a special place in my heart.

Ah, now I see the shape of the tail as a stand. That's pretty cool. Yeah, mermaids from centuries past were not always sweet and friendly... Like the sea itself; sometimes benign, sometimes not. Which kind of suits them.

If you like bad mermaids read Rolling in the Deep by Seanan MGuire or watch the TV show Siren

She's a mermaid werewolf / werewolf mermaid, after all. Double dose of mayhem!

Actually, this is what I believe most mythological creatures were - good and bad at the same time, and always changing, like the nature they originated from. They only became exclusively malevolent (or, in rare cases, exclusively benevolent and holy) after medieval european society developed extremely black & white worldview and started mixing things up.
Slavic mythology got hit rather hard by christianization, everything got labeled evil and ungodly and only a few microscopic tidbits of lore remained in more or less original form. Sadly, the only info on pre-christian Slavic culture comes from records made by monks a few centuries after christianization... Stupid ancestors, why were you so hung up on oral tradition? Why couldn't you be bothered to write anything down? Grrrrhhh.

Actually, Rolling in the Deep is on my whishlist!
Day 175
Today is the Fairy Day, but the only fairy I have is a dark fairy, so the chain of ghostly photos remains undisturbed.

If you only have a dark fairy, then Faybelle is definitely the one to have.

I do love her black and turquoise colour scheme. And her translucent wings are a favourite part.

Thanks guys!
Day 176
My cold got worse, so just a survival photo today. I've been playing with my metallic gel pens (it's not really visible on the photo, but they have some serious shimmer going on!), and Cleo got very interested in them. Who would have guessed...
And one with filter to make up for the lack of quality. Cause that, like, 100000% works.

That mermaid-werewolf hybrid looks amazingly spooky... which is due in large part to your skill in photographing these figures!
The Dark Fairy is yet another of your malevolent-looking creatures! I love the way you can bring out the menace in the effervescently perky EAH figures!
Ha ha! The Cleo pic reminds me of... most of my Doll a Day installments!
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

There's an arty feel to the pic of Cleo lying next to the sketch. Like she's showing off how well she can do something.

Day 177
"These ghost photos are fun. How comes I've only been featured in a group shot and not on my own? I advise you to fix it at once."
And the pre-ghostification one:
