A green-haired dolly and a green snake? Really? REALLY? What an AMAZING picture!
What are the chances that a bright green snake would turn up when you were outside taking photos of your green-haired dolly?
Actually, I've never seen a green snake like that in temperate climates.

Heheh... thank you.  Actually I saw the snake first and had ideas of having Daesani hold him -- she looks like she might like snakes -- but although he wasn't moving too fast, it wasn't going to work.  So I went back in and got Doryn
It's a "smooth green snake" -- imaginative, huh.

Thank you both!  It was a tranquil evening on the beach, and mercifully there weren't mosquitoes that time.

Aw, thank you  She is cute.  I liked her little almost-smile even though at the time I was not yet a big fan of Dals.  I had to order 3 of them from Amazon Marketplace before one came!!

Are y'all tired of butterflies yet?  I still have a few chrysalises left but the last stragglers are really going to be racing the frost heading south... and not all will hatch from the looks of things -- virus damage  It happens.  But 45 have been launched so far, many with a photoshoot before they depart.

First up was Sara, chasing almost-gone light:











6 hatched that day, so that's the most I've shot with.



Here's Alice out back.  Isn't she adorable!

I realized while posting these that I didn't finish all of Alice's.  That's what happens when you get way behind with photos.  So I'll have a few more of her walk in the woods.

The butterfly photos are amazing, and so much fun to see!

Sara is quite the skillful butterfly wrangler managing six at once!

The Alice photos with the butterfly and the mushroom look like fantasy illustrations from a classic Alice storybook.

Once again you make excellent use of the mysterious, shadowy forest lighting.

And the one with Sara & the multitude of butterflies is amazing, how did you get so many to land at once?
