Oh, that's so pretty! And her little pink and silver crown is so cute! What an adorable princess!

Just last night I was wishing I had a gown along those lines for a character/figure concept I had in mind.

i had this old Barbie tiara lying around for forever now, and finally decided to try putting it to use.

some extensive X-ACTO shaving, and a couple of tiny holes made with a Pin Vise microdrill,
paint over the bared plastic areas with TAMIYA CHROME SILVER and paint in the front emblems with TAMIYA PINK,
and finally binding to an elastic headband...

Xacto? Pin vise? Microdrill? Wow! That was some serious small-scale effort! But the end result is well worth the effort! Every princess needs a crown!

I like the way the eyeglasses appear to magnify her eyes.
