Thank you everyone!
@Loona: That sounds like a neat idea, and as I davidd said, tutorials would be great! I've always thought about doing some sort of lamp with those string lights, but never really thought about how I could accomplish it!

If I ever get there, I promise I'll take pictures of the process. I'm still an awful procrastinator though, and currently I'm trying to prioritise finishing the girls' room/shelf (I'd put this lamp there too, but the top priority would be finishing the floor and the walls now), so I can't promise anything - other than that I will remember to take pics and then share

Heh, well there you go... not a photographer collaboration, but Puma and a doll-related thing... Saw it and thought of this conversation.

Oh wow! That's pretty exciting to see! I don't collect LOL surprise, but I see how popular and funky they are. Thinking about it, it's definitely no surprise that they would end up with a shoe! I'm really feeling those white cheetah sneakers.

I love your group so much. They have a cool aesthetic. I like that kind of casual/cool look too for my dolls sometimes. And I love Tarryn! ♥♥ She's my secret fave, haha. It's the short hair. It looks so cute-- I was never that into Craziia until I saw yours. Same with Nahatto with Nanette, with the matte face and the hair she's so cute. I love her a lot too. Of course I like them all though!

I love the first photo with the mulltiple Shions! And I love the jeans suspender skirt she's wearing, too - though I seriously wish Mattel would finally stop the lame plain back-thing, I just can't believe it makes such a big difference cost-wise (especially when the fasions are already ex-pensive enough - at least here they certainly are)
And the last picture with all the girls turned out great! It's already difficult to position 2 dolls in a way that they both look into the camera, but 5?! And they don't simply look into the camera, they also look cool while they are doing it
(Shion is still unbeatably adorable, please stop all that Yuri-enabling )

Thank you so much everyone for the lovely comments!
@dunneh: I wasn't too fond of Craziia myself. I actually bought her to make her into a custom, but she was sitting on my dresser, and I saw how cute she was. Instant love! So she became an unex-pected member of my growing doll family! ^^
@Loona: Wow, I didn't know that there was a difference as far as cost. I remember when you could get four wardrobe items for the same price we pay now for Barbie clothes. But those days have come and gone...
@Alliecat: You know Pullip Yuri is a must-have!

Good evening everyone. Just dropping the last Puma shot and a family photo. I unfortunately lost my mom after Thanksgiving, so I've just been living in a state of disbelief pretty much every day. No tears--just disbelief. I've been trying to be normal and do a few art-related things, but you know that void is still there.

So sorry to hear about this. I lost my mom in July. A state of disbelief describes the ongoing sense pretty well.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

It can be hard to believe they aren't there when you think about telling them something & then realize you can't... Losing one of the foundation stones of your life is hard. Condolences & aloha to both of you.
Melissa, your sporty photos have been fun, and your family shot is sure a stylish bunch.
