Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020
Thanks, all! The fabric was part of a bundle I picked up at a supermarket, of all places. They started bringing in a bunch of sewing stuff including fat quarter bundles, and since fat quarters are perfect amounts for 1/6 scale sewing, I picked some up. I really liked the cloud print fabric, and there's been a couple of others I've really liked as well. I went on a bit of a dress sewing spree just because it was the easiest way to show off the fabric, actually, LOL.

354. Sewing: Merida's T-Shirt

[Image: 78993236_1825ee7cb5295d045aa4ef9d3e455418_standard.jpg]

This was inspired by the comfy princesses looks that have been popular since Ralph Breaks The Internet. The sleeves are really a bit longer than they should be, but I was working with a scrap piece of fabric, so I'm just happy it turned out pretty tidy.

As skillfully demonstrated herein, green is the best color for redheads!

Merida looks to be quite the cheery sort when she is dressed casually! I imagine she would be jolly great fun to hang out with!
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

I love Freya's dress, that pattern is beyond cute! And Merida's shirt is the perfect colour for her! I like how the neckline looks like it's somewhat rectangular, stilyish!

This is a great green for Merida.

The green goes so well with her flaming locks.

That's a fun thing to be able to get at a supermarket. I bought a handful of fat quarters for photo backdrops at a quilt show here some years ago. The seller was amused when I told her what they were for.
Those are nice colours for Merida.

355. Sewing: Mildred's Uniform

[Image: 79035180_ab41f63df1d137c5d0c752c939a4d17b_standard.jpg]

I decided to completely remake Mildred's uniform this year. So new shirt, new pinafore, and for the first time, I made her socks as well! The collar is a bit 'eh', but it was my first time properly inserting a collar so not too bad, overall.

Squeee, so cute! Good work! I think the collar looks great, considering how tiny the doll is.

I am impressed that you are able to sew at such a tiny scale. The shirt looks good and appears to fit well. I would think that getting a proper fit would be challenging.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

You do really quality work. That uniform looks amazing.

Wow, you have been busy. Well done. Mildred is cute.
I could glue at that scale, maybe... xp

Really happy with how the neckline came out on the top

Looks good! Yes, the neckline works well with the necklace. Did you plan it that way?

Neat! I like how tidy your hems look, mine are always a disaster.
