Yep - genuine wave action!

These are "petite" figures, shorter and slimmer than the standard-size TBLeague seamless figure. The shorts and tank top set are nicely made of slightly stretchy, durable fabric material. The shorts have an inner liner (underwear or panties) sewn in. The colored hems and side seams are separate pieces of fabric sewn in to the garments.he shorts and tank top set are nicely made of slightly stretchy, durable fabric material. 22 January - Thrilling Tales of Standing Around and Waiting Adventure

Haha... well, what's that saying about hours of boredom and three minutes of sheer terror?  Or something like that.

Wow, those photostories are So Much Work.  I'm amazed at the 1000+ pages.  Having a bunch of people participating in a big group story like that sounds like a lot of fun.  Chaotic fun perhaps, but, fun!  grin
As always, the perspective and the closeups are great.

You're amassing quite a crew of these seamless figures, so I take it you've got over the initial ambivalence that I recall?

Unfortunately, yes, I seem to be past the seamless figure ambivalence. And now I have quite a crew of them, and more keep coming!

And I've decided that nobody gets sold. I'm done with that mindset. Gotta stop checking prices of the things I buy on eBay and just use 'em the way I intended when I bought them.

Your girls do get up to all sorts of adventure. If you can find them, check out the Danger Girl comics by J. Scott Campbell.

I don't know what color that hair is! It looks different in every photo I take! I'm looking at the figure right now, and under the ceiling light in my kitchen the hair looks purple, but not as purple as the picture above looks on my computer monitor. Some of the eBay listings for that head say "purple" and others say... this is pretty funny, actually... "color as pictured."

25 January - Have Spear Gun, Will Travel Poke Holes In Things

TBLeague (Phicen) S44 figure... toting a spear gun. I found the spear gun on eBay, so I'm not sure what set it is originally from.

I can say exactly the same about your ADAD pics! An impressive variety of figures, many of which I have never seen anywhere else. And you make excellent use of your back yard and nearby surrounding area.

26 January - Mattel "Star Trek" Barbie & Ken Doll Gift Set, circa 1994

Mattel "Star Trek" Barbie & Ken Gift Set, circa 1994.

Sad fact: these 25 year old sets can be found on ebay for less than ten dollars. This one cost me $7.50. I've seen them going for $5.00.

Not all mint-in-box toys and dolls hold their value.

The lack of interest in these Star Trek sets speaks loudly to the passing of a generation: the generation who grew up with the original Star Trek. 1966 was a helluva long time ago now. Coming up on sixty years ago. This Barbie set was released nearly thirty years ago. Even to "middle aged" people, this stuff isn't relevant anymore. Anyone under forty is likely clueless.

Anyway, for five bucks... okay, seven-fifty... I bought it to see if some of the bits and pieces will work for my current projects. All that glorious, colorful packaging from which Captain Kirk has been optimistically smiling for thirty years is destined for the recycle bin or the dumpster.

Well there you go. Might as well unbox and play.
They’re kinda cute.

Plenty of the new generation know all about Star Trek. Same as Doctor Who, which actually predates Star Trek.
