EWWW! You actually made one of your girls hold that wad of yuk??! De-glugging drains is nasty. (I know, that's not officially a word... but when my bathroom sink starts going 'glug' as it drains, it's time to de-glug!!)
The girls are awfully busy... but if they get too many more gross jobs you might have some workplace-safety complaints on your hands
I like your no-trespassing sign. And my impression of "Calico Death" is that it should be a heavy-metal band of cats.
That's a lot of jerry cans... you havin' a convoy??

Yuk and gluggily guck goes with the territory when it comes to plumbing. That's why the girls make the Big Bucks. Or at least, they somewhat earn the Big Bucks that are spent on them... mostly on outfits they never get to wear because they're too busy doing icky gross chores.
The sign is on the gate at a neighbor's house up the road. I think it's meant to be humorous.
@ the cat band idea!
Twas the dark o' th' moon on the sixth of June in a Kenworth haulin' logs. There's a cabover Pete with a reefer on and a Jimmy haulin' hogs.
We was headed for bear on I-One-Oh about a mile outta Shaky Town....
Or maybe it's just gas for a generator. We do some stuff to help out with a neighbor's vacation rental that's "off the grid." A convoy would be more fun. As long as we didn't need to get vaccinated.

Actually, there's a dearth of windows in The Dungeon, but Cousin Monday is an imaginative girl.

Cute. And a nice soft-focus effect; is it a filter?
I gather that dungeons basements with windows are a lot more ex$pensive to build. I guess the Smarties aren't sharing their earnings? And yes, they need a vacation to wear all those nice clothes!

I bet you haven't seen the Canadian version.
Although I prefer this one

Yeah, iPad filters. Not actual photographic skill.

Great setup! And terrific posing. I love the action implied by the bouncy hair on purple girl.

Yes, the plugs are little braided jewelry cords.

I love that. And I adore the Astronuns. (And I thought, "Ooh, astronuns!" before I read your caption.)

OK, “Astronuns” seriously needs to be a photostory, or graphic novel, or… something!!
(At least one of them needs some boots if she’s going into space though! )
Clever idea with the jewelry cords and they look great.

You come from a family of writers. Indeed, you are a writer! So go ahead and run with it!

Wow. So much work. All these dolls–building photos will be fun for you to look back on when the projects are done.

Before or after the 2 half-finished novels?
" When the projects are done," she says. I like the optimism!
Start your next writing project after finishing the half-finished novels. If you have two that are half-finished, paste 'em together and you're done! Self-publish to Amazon for Kindle, and start on the next one. The nun one.

Wow.
I am impressed, both with the dolls and your construction program.
My deck needs repair. I really need a crew to come do it cos I can't get motivated to.

Now you have me wondering how the characters would react if dropped into each other's (totally different) worlds. Stop that....

Depending on whether your deck planks are nailed down or screwed down, grab a pry bar and an electric drill with a screwdriver bit and start pulling up a section. Take Jake and the PTFCo Crew out with you and put them to work.
Of course, I don't know what your options are for acquiring supplies out there on da island. Do you have to mill your own lumber on site from mighty oaks you hew down with an axe? Maybe start by measuring and counting your deck planks, then look up lumber prices, and delivery prices if necessary. After getting a rough idea of price, you may likely decide the deck is plenty fine to last another season or two... or five... or more.
Also... it's a lot easier to construct a new deck than to repair an old one. I have several sections of deck that need to have at least some (probably most) of the planks replaced and some serious scraping, sanding, and refinishing work done.
As for your novels, sounds like fun. Mess with your characters some, see how they respond!

She deserves a spa and some glam-up time, like relaxing at a bar or something. You've been making her hold drainage goo and garbage bags
But anyway, good pic. Smart dolls really do pose nicely.
