That's pretty much what they do. The soul-sucking, not the color-changing.
Here's a pic of the ones I found back in 2013:

28 July - Lest anyone doubt how hard the girls have been working,
Addie offers her disintegrating boots as evidence
Now she wants genuine Red Wing work boots instead of cheap knock-offs from China.
The lenses are coming loose from her goggles as well. The girls aren't messing around out there, they're putting in some serious effort!
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Those Vibram® soles offer good traction while rinsing off easily with water.

They didn't even make it to the dinner table, or to the shower to clean up.

He does indeed look grumpy.
He also looks a bit like he might moonlight as a zombie or a werewolf in his spare time

Definite werewolf vibes in the facial hair. I think the Smart Dolls could defeat him pretty easily, though.

The figure is based on a vampire hunter character, although yes, he looks like he should be the hunted rather than the hunter.

Yes, the Smart Dolls would wipe the floor with him; after all, they're twice his size!

31 July - Maudlynne Feels Annoyed and Disgusted
Well, Maudlynne often feels annoyed and disgusted. At the moment, though, the primary causes for her annoyance and disgust are that her eyeglasses frames are broken, she has a discolored scuff on the toe of one of her shoes, and the storage shed has devolved in to utter chaos.

Yeah, she does look like she's waiting for someone to come help out there.
I have no advice for the shed, as I can't get going at my own clutter

Aw, milkweed Pinky is absolutely adorable! Love her little glasses.
The last one made me lol... poor Pinky looks like she's about to get impaled.

Edit Reason: not paying attention...
)
Ahhhhh, look at all the hummingbirds! Look at all the hummingbird feeders! How many do you get at a time?
They don't cooperate here. I have seen two on my feeder only a couple of times. Are they less territorial/done breeding there? Even though I've put up a 2nd feeder, they still chase each other.
I can relate to the rocky-road feelinglostinawilderness sort of feeling in the first pic...
Yay for the milkweed plant!

She should have brought a sword!

For most of the season there have only been three hummingbirds. Three. Usually there are, like, fiften or twenty or more.
Two weeks ago we finally started getting a little bit of rain, the foliage began to bloom, the insects began to emerge, and a few more hummers showed up.
And then a few more. Currently there are between ten and a dozen battling for dominance.
No, most of these do not cooperate either. The smaller ones, which I assume are younger ones or recent fledglings, get along well, but the larger, older ones
are extremely territorial.

The last pic made me laugh.
Great posing as always.
I remember the campfire ring from some previous post. Canadian moose eh?
I hope your hummers were just elsewhere, and not that they are also decreasing in numbers like so many other birds
