davidd's A DOLL A DAY 2023

Not funny.
Also, carpenter ants survive winter just fine. Especially if they're in your house.

Perhaps the Pinkys are plotting to clean up the "dumping ground" and restore some order.
I wonder what the girls found in the "we shouldn't go in there" crevice.

Do they "tent" houses where you live? Of course, tenting pumps the entire house full of toxic chemicals which pretty much kills everything... except for the termites (and carpenter ants) which are burrowed deeply in to the structure.

No, and no I wouldn't do it. If my entire house is poisoned then eff it -- I'm out.

That's a fun photo.

The mosquitos would be all over her ex.posed arms/ hands... but hopefully she gets a lovely picture that's worth the annoying bites!

Just so's ya know, "tenting" is mandatory in most of Hawaii when a house sells because termites are so prevalent. Something to keep in mind when you are house-hunting.

I'm working on some miniature props for a photo-story idea... that will likely never fully materialize.

One More Magazine Mock-Up

I used the Plasq Comic Life software... sorry, "app"... to make a few parody magazine covers and advertisements using action figures for a photo story idea that has already fizzled out. Seemed like it might be fun when I started. My enthusiasm has waned.

Also, quick reminder: ye lubbers be savvy as t' what termorrow be, aye?

Well, not until yer reminded me, but aye, now I do.
Those covers look like a lot of work. Man, I haven't even had time to sort photos I took months ago sad
No doubt the cigarettes are also recommended by doctors and scientists...

Well, sadly, I am not house-hunting in Hawai'i.

We learned why real pirates were likely on the slim side: it's hard work living on a boat!

Triv and Janie celebrated their Talk Like a Pirate Day by engaging in some real life pirate-style adventures... like scraping and sanding deck planks.

When were they a Thing? Funny, I don't recall ever hearing of them till I was into dolls in recent years. I'm surprised how much in demand some are. Every once in a while I have a look if there are any Anne Arctics around - just cos I think the clear body is kinda cool, but ouch! the price!! Oh My

2012 - 2014; they didn't last long. Most of the 2014 releases were largely confined to Europe.
